TOURNAMENT & FUNDRAISER
Students, parents & friends,
If you didn’t already know, our head coach Professor Tiago Ferreira has been chosen to represent Australia at the World Professional Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Championships in Abu Dhabi in April 2013. Unfortunately, Tiago must come up with the cash to fund his trip. This, as I’m sure you can appreciate is an expensive exercise, therefore, we have decided to organise a fundraiser to help Tiago on his way.
We will be holding a Club Tournament & sausage sizzle with all of the proceeds going to help Tiago get to Abu Dhabi. We would appreciate your support, as not only is this giving Tiago the chance to fly the Green and Gold Flag, but the chance to represent our Club, Gracie Shark Team!!! And, I’m sure the wealth of knowledge that Tiago will return with will be priceless to us all.
WHEN: SATURDAY, 6th APRIL 2013.
WHERE: GRACIE CENTRAL COAST GYM, ERINA.
ENTRY: KIDS $15 ADULTS $20
ENTRIES CLOSE: THURSDAY, 28th MARCH 2013.
The day will start off with the kids and continue on with the adults. There will be prizes for the winners of each division and all of the kids that enter will not go home empty handed!!! There will be a sausage sizzle and drinks that can be purchased to fill those empty tummies and quench the thirst. We welcome family and friends, even if you are not intending to compete, to come along and share this wonderful day with us and see firsthand what Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is all about!
There will be more information for those wanting to compete, about the rules and regulations upon entry.
We hope to see you all there. Let’s get together and help get the SHARK to Abu Dhabi!

2013 World Adu Dhabi Trials Australia Head Coach Tiago got Second. |

Sorry friends and students, I got second place lost the final for great new opponents, Carlos
Portugues, 4 weeks ago I got my residence in Australia and decide to compete in
the Abu Dhabi World Pro Trials in Australia. In a short time to lose 10kgs from 83.8kgs to 73kgs to
try different division. I loved the experience and if I had more time I believe it could have been
different but I got offered accommodation on the real Abu Dhabi and I'm thinking of going.
Hope I can get some sponsors to help me make this dream come true. And thanks friends,
students and especially to my beautiful wife for great support to fight hard today. Thanks so
much all the positeve messages them help to make me strong and fight smart and hard. Ossssss
